James Gargiulo served four years in the United States Army from 1997 to 2001 as a 73C Finance Specialist achieving the rank of Sergeant.  He was stationed with the 176th Finance Battalion at the Yongsan base in Seoul, South Korea, and with the 4th Finance Battalion at Fort Carson, CO.  He provided payroll customer service to soldiers who needed help with their LES questions and problems.

 

After his miliary service, James worked in various finance and accounting positions starting with AT&T and Anhesuer-Busch.  More recently, he has worked for his own business providing CFO consulting, payroll, and bookkeeping services to small businesses, and half of his clients are nonprofit organizations.

 

As the Executive Director, James is responsible for serving the District’s board of directors, managing the maintenance, repair and remodeling of the Hall and marketing the Hall to local veterans and the general public.

 

James and his wife moved to Gilroy in 2007 shortly after their first child was born.  He enjoys playing golf, playing pool, and road trips.
